Men’s Golf Report
A cold and wet end of October claimed more than just a few late season rounds… it also resulted in the cancellation of our Men’s Closing Day. With that, only the Polar Bear remains on the official golf schedule for the 2011 Season. Let’s hope between now and course closing we get a brief respite from the wet weather to enjoy the final golf days of the season.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank this year’s members of the Golf Committee. Glen Stephenson, Drew Pare and I are all finishing our third and final seasons on the Golf Committee and will be spend a little more time chopping up the fairways and a little less in the Boardroom next year. Thanks for a great 3 years of service to Highland

I’d also like to thank Mike Silver, Rick Pero, Tyler Valliant and all the Professional Shop staff for their tireless work and support of all of the Men’s Golf Events during the season. As well a big thanks to Karen Gilles, Amy Norton, Joan Lapkowski, Susan Quinn and Leo Larizza, all of whom I have gotten to know much better this year as I navigated my way through the golf season.
We hope you’ve enjoyed all of the year’s events, checked the Golf Committee Blog once in a while and had the chance to make fun of my ‘Highlander Videos’. Next year’s Men’s Golf Committee is in great hands and I’m already looking forward to 2012’s Opening Day!
